Building on hope.
I am reminded of the film ‘Along Came a Spider ‘where the character played by Morgan Freeman says, “You do what you are”. I say this because in a way I stumbled into youth work, but as time went on
Yejide Igwe started work with us in September 2008 as interim Youthwork Coordinator, stepping in to tie over the gap between the departure of Paul Perkins and the arrival of a long-term coordinator. She has extensive experience of working with young people, particularly those at risk, and has done this both in London and in the USA>
Yejide is responsible for the running of youthwork programmes at St Mary’s.
